Our Product Squad Team:

The Product Squad is a dedicated team of specialists who are responsible for the delivery of product changes and new products across the Australian Unity Health Insurance & OVC Portfolio .

  • Deliver a superior outcome in product implementation activities
  • Be able to develop/retain/transfer product implementation skills to enable efficient implementation of proposed and future product changes 
  • Provide a feedback loop for Product strategic initiatives in relation to implementation considerations
  • Ensure the customer is front of mind for all product and process changes. 

Your role

Working full time within the Product Implementation Squad, you’ll work collaboratively to deliver projects to implement AU product strategy, such as future migrations or product changes. You’ll report to leads within the Squad and to the Manager of Business Readiness and will be responsible for coordinating the Business Readiness aspects of projects such as creating and delivering internal processes and managing change pieces being introduced into the Contact Centre and Operations teams. This role will be also tasked with maintaining accurate knowledge management tools, internal communications and documentation, whilst helping execute projects in Australian Unity’s Health Insurance Services.

You will be an open collaborator and team player and be able to represent the customer experience when contributing to important pieces of change or negotiating decisions within the business. You’ll be driven, resilient and be able to have a laugh within a close-knit team.


Your skills and experience will include;

•    Knowledge of Private Health Insurance is required
•    A high level of computer literacy and the ability to grasp new software applications with ease (WHICS, Salesforce, Outlook, and MS office suite)
•    Exceptional Written & Oral communication skills
•    Extensive experience working in a customer service environment with the ability to provide constructive feedback and ideas
•    Ability to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and interaction guides for business use
•    Experience with participating in successful change implementation initiatives into a business
•    Training or qualifications in LEAN, or Six Sigma will be highly regarded, although not essential
