Our opportunity

 

The Banking & Financial Services Officer joins our Banking & Financial Services Team to support the Australian Unity Trustees business to deliver Financial Administration, Estate Administration and Trust Administration services to its clients. As a member of the team, the Banking & Financial Services Officer undertakes a range of processes which are essential to ensuring that clients and third parties receive funds in an accurate and timely manner.

 

What you will do

 

Banking & financial services operations

  • Processing a high volume of invoices and ad-hoc payment requests,
  • Processing of medical claims on behalf of our clients
  • Perform accounts payable duties in accordance with cyclical calendar for processing supplier invoices, Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies, and,
  • Prepare electronic funds transfers & trust account reconciliations

 

Client service and Stakeholder Management

  • Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice discrepancies in a professional manner
  • Ensure provision of consistent experience and service standards for internal clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor the progress of requests for information and follow-up requests as required
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively, building and maintaining positive relationships

 

What we are looking for

 

Fundamentally, we are searching for a professional who will join us in striving to live our values of bold, warm and honest, in everything we do.

 

Additionally we are also looking for;

 

  • Tertiary qualifications within Commerce or related discipline would be well regarded
  • An understanding of banking & financial services processes including invoicing, accounts payable and reconciliations is preferred
  • An understanding of financial administration and the Trustees industry is preferred
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and effectively operate to agreed deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
