Your role

 

As the Legal & Contracts Assistant, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality, timely and effective legal and contracting support for the documented legal relationship between the Independent & Assisted Living (IAL) platform, which is part of the Australian Unity Group, and various external parties (including residents, suppliers, contractors and funders).

 

You will assist with the production of supplier contracts and resident documents (entries and exits into Australian Unity Retirement Communities or Aged Care facilities). Further, tasked with implementing and maintaining appropriate matter management techniques to manage workload, provide focus and ensure regular updates can be provided to instructors. In addition, support the Contracts & Knowledge Manager and Head of Legal on relevant projects.

 

About you

 

  • Familiarity with general legal requirements for contracts and/or conveyancing.
  • Excellent time management skills and known for applying great attention to detail into your work.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work under pressure with competing demands.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Team-oriented approach with outstanding collaboration abilities.
