Our Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security - Technology Risks and Controls, in this role you will assist with the implementation and operation of the cyber security practices to ensure reliability, resilience and compliance of Australian Unity technology systems against external and internal threats. These threats may impact information confidentiality, integrity and service availability, in turn you will ensure protection of mission critical systems and information assets, management of technology risks, thereby enhancing operational resilience.

 

Key to this role will be your collaboration with internal stakeholders to translate risk appetite, risk metrics and mitigation controls into business discussions, reporting KRIs, risk appetite metrics and business decisions. You will act as a subject matter expert to define, implement, maintain and ensure consistency of end to end information security controls and solutions. Act as audit liaison, oversee information security arrangements in third party arrangements, lead control testing.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Demonstrated information security control and program framework experience including risk management, security controls design and implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of cyber security analysis and delivery in addition to knowledge of IT security best practice and solutions.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001, APRA CPS 234, NIST Standards (800-53, CSF), OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25 and WASC.
  • Experience in the selection and systematic application of appropriate indicators/metrics to evaluate and measure information security management program effectiveness.
  • GWAPT, CEH, OSCP, CISSP certifications or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise work to manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability.
