Your New Role:


Australian Unity’s Trustees business was established to provide and make more easily accessible a range of trustee services to all Australians including; estate planning, executor appointments and estate administration, financial attorney, financial and legal administration and the establishment and management of compensation, personal, family, testamentary native title, community and charitable trusts.


Reporting to the Head of Partnerships – Australian Unity Trustees, this role is responsible for the development and ongoing management of strong commercial referral partnerships, with key focus on the resulting establishment of long-term trust structures.


Your New Role Looks Like This:


  • Development and execution of appropriate product and sales strategies
  • Delivering both immediate business profitability and consistent revenue streams, and active contribution to longer term, latent business value
  • Work closely with legal firms, including succession law practices and personal injury practices as well as wealth managers, superannuation companies and other mutual organisations
  • Work very closely with other senior / sales strategy professionals across the platform, to ensure a consistent presence in, and approach to, the market as well as seeking opportunities for / with other businesses


About You:


  • You will operate in a manner that places clients front and centre, is financially responsible and compelling, strategically aligned and progressive, and reflects Australian Unity’s brand and values.
  • A proven track record of success in a values-based sales role: sales mindset and approach with a demonstrable success in sourcing business opportunities across the breadth of trustee services and solutions. Additionally, adept in marketing and sales strategy development and implementation.
  • Tertiary qualification in law, business or related discipline, coupled with minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles within the trustee industry.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills in building and fostering both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Existing and deep relationships across the legal and financial services industries.
