Our opportunity

 

The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for conducting functional testing as well owning the overall quality process on complex technology projects. The role is critical to the business and  is responsible for planning, preparing, executing and reporting on all aspects of testing, adhering to a risk-based QA approach.

 

Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for improving visibility of quality metrics as well as assessing the need for non-functional testing (including performance testing, automation testing, etc). The analyst should have a deep understanding of QA principles, and is responsible for managing the definition, implementation and integration of quality principles and processes throughout the delivery cycle.

 

What we are looking for

Additionally we are also looking for;

  • Demonstrated commercial experience in software quality assurance, ideally coupled with experience as a Lead/Senior QA analyst.
  • Full understanding of Agile test methodologies and a proven track record of producing high quality test material from a variety of requirement mediums
  • Experience testing with complex data sets and functional permutations across integrated systems with multiple stakeholders, including external vendors.
  • Ability to take ownership of software quality and testing processes to ensure that delivery is completed within set timeframes.
  • Conceptual understanding of important QA tools and principles including aspects of non-functional testing in order to assess business value that these might offer in different contexts.
  • Regular involvement in the broader QA industry, to keep abreast of the latest technologies, methodologies, challenges, and issues facing QA and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for working in highly collaborative environments.
  • Experience testing on enterprise financial/wealth systems will be highly regarded.
