The position


The highly purposeful role of State Facilities Manager is positioned within our Independent & Assisted Living business and will hold responsibility for the Victorian Residential Communities portfolio (Aged Care and Retirement).


Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, you will be responsible for high quality property services across the portfolio including repairs and maintenance, CAPEX and OPEX, and minor projects.  You will support Site Management and Maintenance Officers in the delivery of day-to-day maintenance including repairs, grounds management, and associated services. Further, set and manage budgets and ensure the properties are safe and meet all compliance requirements at all times.


This position will involve extensive travel within the greater Melbourne region and a vehicle or car allowance will be provided.

  • Extensive experience in facility management, ideally acquired within Experience working in the Healthcare/Aged Care/Retirement space, and experience managing residential living properties
  • A services and or trade qualification
  • Demonstrated budget creation and management experience
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability engage people on all levels and from all backgrounds
  • Advanced problem solving skills coupled with a proactive approach
