About the opportunity


The Australian Unity Wealth division is seeking talent for the role of Team Coordinator – Distribution. Reporting to the Head of Intermediated Markets, this opportunity will focus on the co-ordination, support and assistance in the day-to-day operations, within the Business Development team in all activities associated with building stronger, more diverse relationships regarding the Australian Unity product portfolio. In addition to this the role will require working collaboratively with other teams across the Wealth platform to deliver business outcomes.


What you will do


  • Contribute to the distribution team by providing timely and accurate sales support to maintain and build investment activity
  • Assist the senior Business Development Managers with required forms of business development and relationship management
  • Engage advisers by both inbound and outbound telephone work
  • Work closely with the investment, product and marketing teams, coordinating client events and functions
  • Be proactive in producing support materials necessary for meetings and complete a timely follow-up process
  • Assist with Investment Roadshows and Boardroom Briefings
  • Provide administration support to the BDM and Investment Teams


What we are looking for


  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce or related field, preferred, however not essential. RG146 would be highly regarded
  • Experience supporting a Business Development team, ideally within the wealth, superannuation, banking or funds management industry
  • Ability to build strong lasting relationships
  • Collaborative style, proactive and a bias for making things happen
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Broad knowledge of products administered by Financial Services Industry
