Your opportunity


Our Learning & Development team continues to support our business by developing flexible learning solutions that help our employees and customers make sense of the world. At Australian Unity, learning is a key driver in helping our employees grow and prosper as they support our customers.

You will utilise your design and change management experience to drive the development of a range of learning content and materials as required by several systems projects across both business sectors. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the materials are relevant to the learning cohort, of high quality and developed within the required timelines and scope of the projects.

Here's your day-to-day: 

  • Demonstrate high level consulting skills across a range of audiences from front-line workers to senior leaders.
  • Design and build learning solutions to meet strategic priorities
  • Build and maintain relevant sector and industry knowledge and awareness as they relate to Australian Unity’s business platforms and enabling functions
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analyses in collaboration with business leaders and ensure that learning solutions address business needs and are aligned with the broader business strategy.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for end-to-end delivery of learning outcomes, with minimal guidance
  • Identify, develop and implement innovative learning solutions in environments beset with multiple technical and logistical challenges
  • Scope, design, develop, deliver and evaluate Learning and Capability solutions that deliver on business needs
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing learning chains that leverage different learning modalities as well as aspects of knowledge management


About you

Are you a professional who strives to be bold, warm and honest in everything that you do? 

Here's what we need from you: 


  • Qualifications in Learning/Education/Training
  • Experience working in Banking & Finance, particularly Internet and mobile banking and/or an implementation of New Payments Platform (NPP) highly desirable
  • Significant experience scoping, developing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions across multiple business contexts
  • Experience across a range of sectors and the ability to adapt and apply learning to varied and complex business contexts
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the design of learning and capability programs and interventions using multiple modalities (online, face to face and blended)
  • Proven project management experience and capability involving multiple stakeholders and contributors
  • Demonstrated experience of designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions in/for complex environments
  • Demonstrated experience of strong relationship and stakeholder management in complex environments
  • Evidence of innovation thinking and an understanding of agile implementation methodologies
