Your Role


The Talent Sourcing Specialist plays an integral part of our Talent Sourcing Hub. In this role you will partner with our Talent Acquisition Specialists within the Independent & Assisted Living business and support current and future talent sourcing objectives aligned to business workforce strategies. You will demonstrate deep knowledge around targeted candidate attraction and be experienced in developing talent pipelining channels.


The primary responsibilities of the role include and are not limited to:


  • Develop talent pools aligned to demand forecast
  • Identify targeted channels for key sourcing activities
  • Proactively seek and develop new relationships with active and passive candidate/s aligned to the AU EVP
  • Source, screen, engage and nurture candidates
  • Produce market mapping and actionable talent insights to drive effective sourcing and conversions
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Be a brand ambassador and a great relationship builder
  • Identify talent across Aged, Home Community Care sector and cross industry workforce affiliations


Your permanent full-time opportunity can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney. 


About you 


We are looking for a talent professional with demonstrable experience in candidate management. An individual contributor passionate about our purpose and are capable working with a diverse range of people across a largely dispersed geography. You will be well versed in talent sourcing initiatives and have strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills. You will identify and maintain external partnerships to develop and increase talent referrals & employer brand awareness.  


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • A minimum of 12 months recruitment experience– internal, external or mix of both – Proficient in volume and project-based recruitment activities.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven self-starter who can work with minimal supervision/guidance and seeks feedback.
  • Enjoy learning and self-initiates growth & development opportunities.
